From coloring easter eggs with Aunt JuJu and all the cousins, to hunting the eggs with lots of family, to riding the bulldozer with Pappy, to going to church and having a group picture with some of the family, to having baby goats, to bottle-feeding baby calves.

Things have remained the same from year to year since 1971 when our 'family life' began, but yet, things change every day at THE DEAN's.

God is so Good!!!

I met the 'love of my life; at age 15, and married my best friend at age 19. We have celebrated 38 yrs of marriage. We have 8 children, 3 married into our family children and four precious grand-children. I am a 'care-giver' by rights. I can remember from a very young age having many small creatures in my care, from baby lambs, to baby o'possums, to baby pigs to little 'people' cousins. I began nursing at age 14 at the old Santa Anna Hospital with mentors like Myrtle Burden, Francis See, Avis White, Lois Avants, Carmen Donham, Della Wristen and Jane Smith----------maybe this speaks to why I am such a stickler for ethics and professionalism. I do not really have any wonderful hobbies or favorite things to do, I just like to do things that make people happy. If I could do anything, anywhere, that I wanted to do, I would choose to take a lawn chair and set out in the edge of the ocean with my best friends and my family and watch my kids and grandkids play in the waves.
